THREE former Fremantle players headline West Coast's six latest additions to its inaugural AFLW team.
Key forward-turned-defender Emily McGuire (pictured above, who received a NAB AFLW Rising Star nomination during her one AFLW season in 2018), the versatile Beatrice Devlyn (2017 and 2018) and midfielder Emily Bonser are now representing the crosstown rivals.
Bonser, 24, was signed to the Dockers in season one before it was discovered she had been carrying ACL injuries in both knees.
She is consequently yet to make her AFLW debut.
The Eagles have also signed inside midfielder Hayley Bullas, defender Ashton Hill and ruck Danika Pisconeri. All six were signed as open-age players, having been aligned to the Eagles' Academy.
The 23-year-old Bullas has played for Essendon's VFLW side for the past two seasons, winning the Bombers' best and fairest last year and being named in the VFLW team of the year.
Hill, who was invited to the NAB AFLW Combine in 2017, plies her trade at East Fremantle, where the 24-year-old has impressed with her rebounding skills.
Ruck Pisconeri has dominated the centre square in the WAFLW this year playing for Subiaco.
The former basketballer, 28, is strong in the contest and has been acting skipper for most of the year, before tagging out for Fremantle star Hayley Miller.
"We are incredibly proud of the West Coast Eagles female Academy players who have been signed through this pre-listing process," Eagles head of female football Adam Selwood said.
"Each of them have gone through their own unique journey to secure a spot on our AFLW list and I know they are ready to make the most of the opportunity in front of them.
"As part of the AFLW list build process we still have a female Academy (open-age) and a rookie signing to potentially fulfil before the August 30 deadline.
"During the next two months we will also be preparing for the AFLW draft, which will provide us up to six selections within the Western Australian pool to complete our squad."
Gold Coast has also given lively half-forward Kalinda Howarth a second chance at the AFLW, after the now-20 year old was delisted by Brisbane after one season in 2018.
Howarth has worked in the Suns' community department for several years now and was involved in the club's presentation for an AFLW licence.
Playing for Bond University, she is the QAFLW's leading goalkicker for the 2019 season.
St Kilda has also elevated midfielder/tagger Sammie Johnson from its VFLW list. Johnson finished second in the club's best and fairest last year.
