The AFL advises the Match Review of the NAB AFL Women's Pre-Season Practice Matches has been completed. One charge was laid.
Charge Laid:
Ebony Marinoff, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with Forceful Front-On Contact against Brid Stack, GWS Giants, during the fourth quarter of the AFLW Pre-Season Practice Match between the Adelaide Crows and the GWS GIANTS, played at Norwood Oval on Sunday January 17.
In summary, she has been referred directly to the Tribunal and cannot accept an early plea.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, Severe Impact and High Contact. The incident was classified as a direct referral to the Tribunal and the player cannot be offered an early plea.
