TEAMS: Cats unleash dangerous forwards, Tiger takes on old mates

GEELONG will unleash two dangerous forwards against Collingwood, handing debuts to talented duo Olivia Barber and Steph Williams, while Irish speedster Sarah Rowe is back for the Pies.

Dependable defender Millie Brown will miss her first AFLW game through injury, with Rene Caris dropped, as the Cats respond to their 62-point loss to North Melbourne.

Barber was selected with pick No.21 in last year's draft, and Williams joined her a few moments later via pick No.27.

Opponents Collingwood have made just the one change – Rowe has shaken off a minor shoulder injury and will replace the suspended Aliesha Newman, who has one week on the sidelines after a dangerous tackle.

Down the highway, new Richmond defender Harriet Cordner will take on her old side Melbourne at Casey Fields.

Pacey midfielder Maddy Brancatisano has recovered from a minor knee injury and will replace Luka Lesosky-Hay, with the Tigers opting not to recall utility Laura McClelland after she served the second week of a two-match suspension dating back to last year.

The Dees have opted not to make any changes to the side who defeated Gold Coast by 21 points, with last week's debutants Eliza McNamara, Megan Fitzsimon and Alyssa Bannan holding their spots.
