COLLINGWOOD was the form team for much of the home and away NAB AFLW season and leads all-comers in the 2021 AFLW All-Australian squad.
The Pies have six nominees in the squad of 40, with the final team of 21 – including a vice-captain and skipper – to be announced at the W Awards on Tuesday, April 20.
The midfield trio of Brianna Davey, Britt Bonnici and Jaimee Lambert have all made the cut, as well as forward Chloe Molloy, while defensive stalwarts Stacey Livingstone and Ruby Schleicher round out the Magpies' contingent.
Adelaide has four representatives – although Chelsea Randall, who split her time between the forward and back lines this year, missed out – as does Brisbane, Carlton, Melbourne, North Melbourne and Richmond.
The competition's No.1 draft pick from last year, Tiger Ellie McKenzie, is the youngest player in the squad of 40.
The AFLW's premier tagger – Brisbane's Cathy Svarc – has also been recognised for her efforts this year.
Every club has a representative, with one player named from each of Gold Coast, Geelong, St Kilda and West Coast.
