GEELONG has delisted three players after its disappointing 13th-placed season, including its very first goalkicker in Maddie Boyd.
Hard-running half-forward Nicole Garner and young untried forward Mia Skinner have also not been offered contracts.
Key forward Boyd played 13 games for the Cats over three seasons, kicking four goals.
A strong contested mark, the 27-year-old also played seven games for Melbourne back in 2017 and two for Greater Western Sydney the following year, before returning to her home town to join Geelong's inaugural AFLW team.
Garner was selected with pick No.50 from Casey Demons in 2019 and broke through for her debut in round three this year, playing the final seven games of the season.
Skinner, a Geelong Falcon, was taken with the Cats' next selection in that same draft, but a leg injury ruined her 2020 season. She did manage to play a handful of VFLW games this year.
Ruck Aasta O'Connor previously announced her retirement.
A date for the Trade Period is yet to be officially locked in, but clubs are preparing for a starting date of April 26, at the earliest.
